Coach Tashia is the longest tenured coach on the staff as she begins her 12th season as an assistant coach with the program. She has been involved with Olympian High School since it's doors opened to students in the Summer of 2006. She competed in track and field for a season at Morse High School.
As a long term assistant, parent of a student that graduated from Olympian’s first senior class, she also serves as the Head Cheer Coach for the past 11 years.
Coach Lyons brings an unique historical perspective to Olympian's Track & Field Program. She will work as the lead relay coach and assist with sprints. Under Coach Tashia's tutelage, Olympian has been well represented each of the past four seasons in relay events at the CIF San Diego Section Championships and California State Track & Field Championships. In 2018, the girls 4x100 team made school history by being the only relay team or individual event participant to ever run in the State finals. In doing so, the relay team also earned the distinction of being the first to medal and score points at the State Championship Meet.
